True Love.

You wonder why your soul is dead,
You suffer the world inside your head,
You can let your binding spirit cling,
To universally complicated things,
Or you can listen to your heart instead,

There’s no true love,
Love is already true,
There’s no bad love,
Love isn’t cruel,
There is no greater/lesser good,
You either love… or you should,
There’s no love that isn’t true,

One cannot make love truer still,
By adding adjectives at will,
Love is love is all you get,
No more to need, nevertheless,
Disappointment is your own treadmill,

There’s no true love,
Love is already true,
There’s no bad love,
Love isn’t cruel,
There is no greater/lesser good,
You either love… or you should,
There’s no love that isn’t true,

One who says there’s true love yet,
Has one that isn’t; o’ I’ll bet,
And there within their finite haze,
Limitations make their way,
Sadly they believe the lie they let,

There’s no true love,
Love is already true,
There’s no bad love,
Love isn’t cruel,
There is no greater/lesser good,
You either love… or you should,
There’s no love that isn’t true,

There’s only one love,
There’s only one true,
Don’t let your innocence lie to you,
There's no love that isn't true.
