Christmas is near,
I’m missing you so,
There’s emptiness,
Under the mistletoe,
The kids are restless,
To put up a tree,
2001 colours,
What will they be,

It’s gonna be red,
For our strikes against terror,
It’s gonna be white,
For the truth we hold near,
It’s gonna be blue,
For our enduring freedom,
It’s gonna be red, white, and blue,
For Christmas this year,

Silver bells ring,
Every place that I go,
Bringing indifference,
In all that I know,
I got your present early,
With help from your mom,
We went out to Missouri,
Wrote your name on a bomb,

O’, it’s gonna be red,
For our strikes against terror,
It’s gonna be white,
For the truth we hold near,
It’s gonna be blue,
For our enduring freedom,

For Christmas this year,

In God’s miracle,
