An Embarrassing Moment In The Baker's Bathroom While Jeff Was Spying On Sharon or Looks Can Be Deceiving.
One night we sat up late,
My roommate and me,
Talkin' 'bout the monkeys in our family trees,
Showin' off the pictures,
And searchin' our minds,
For all and any stories we could possibly find,
That's when it happened,
When it got out of hand,
He showed me a picture of a girl on the can,
O', Sharon, Sharon Phil-a-pot,
What fun we had with that bathroom shot,
The look on your face was an innocent one,
But with our minds in the gutter; we had some fun,
O', Jeff tried to tell me,
Tried to set things straight,
But I couldn't believe that silly grin on his face,
He told me that Sharon,
Was not on the can,
She's not the kind of girl to take a picture like that,
But he wasn't convincing,
With his probable truth,
And we couldn't stop laughing for an hour or two,
O', Sharon, Sharon Phil-a-pot,
What fun we had with that bathroom shot,
The look on your face was an innocent one,
But with our minds in the gutter; we had some fun,
Now I hope that our fun,
Hasn't damaged your heart,
You know we didn't mean it 'cos I know you're that smart,
But if you could've seen it,
The same way we did,
The deception of innocence thru' a camera lens,
And Jeff and I are calm now,
We've got a plan you see,
We're sending your picture to Life magazine,
O', Sharon, Sharon Phil-a-pot,
What fun we had with that bathroom shot,

ReplyDeletethat's a true story... my roommate in korea; jeff & i had such fun with this. we played it (guitar), sung it... recorded it; sent it to Sharon Phlipot (pronounced "flippo"). Jeff had told me he used to tease her by pronouncing her name phil-a-pot; showed be a picture of her that was taken in his mom's bathroom... looked like she was sitting on the 'pot'... i picked up the guitar and said, 'jeff... this is a song'... wrote it.
