A Loving Mawmaw.

God, help me look,
In the right direction,
Help me to see,
The good of it all,
Comfort my days,
Of pain with reflection,
Into the wonder,
Of a loving Mawmaw,

Gone are the days,
Of laughter like thunder,
Gone are the times,
She held me so close,
Here are the days,
Of solemn, sweet wonder,
Here are the times,
She needs me the most,
And so I must look,
To honor thru’ danger,
To see the courage,
She gave to us all,
To bravely discard,
My sadness and anger,
To behold the miracle,
Of a loving Mawmaw,

God, help me look,
