If I Loved You.

I would know without reason,
When I look in your eyes,
You could touch without reaching,
Into my disguise,
I would dream while awake,
And wish them all true,
Sweet dreams of your love,
If I loved you,

I would destroy the barriers,
Between your heart and mine,
I would open the sea,
So you could swim thru’ my mind,
I would not give you doubt,
I could not leave you blue,
I would lay it all out,
If I loved you,

I would settle your mind,
When you could not be sure,
There would be no doubt,
About who we were,
I would be a bright light,
In the dark of your blue,
I would see thru’ your eyes,
If I loved you,

O’, in the deepest of doubt,
In the absence of trust,
I’d walk thru’ the fire,
I’d crawl thru’ the dust,
In everything I could be,
In all that I’d do,

Would you love me,
