Hey lady in those faded blue jeans,
What's the story with you,
You're watchin' television, sick of the scene but,
What can you do,
You placed an ad in the local paper,
For peace of mind you say,
There's somethin' new about the price of pain that,
You're not willin' to pay,
So what's your plan for the missing children,
What do you hope for dear,
You're not standin' ready with an answer,
But your stand is clear,

ReplyDeletethanx, jodi! i wrote it for a non-profit organization "Rescue Efforts Assisting Children Home (R.E.A.C.H.)"... which i also named... and helped form in 1995; Northern California. I actually got to sing this song for Amber Schwartz's mom (Kim) (in a private audience); the girl for whom the "Amber Alert" is named.
