When you were fragile and I was tough,
When blue jeans and Michelob did its stuff,
When pills and parties were really in,
When the marijuana leaf was our best friend,
When baby blue took us to the prom,
When we were chauffeured by Dad and David’s mom,
When we were sure that our love was strong,
When things were right and nothing wrong,
When we were together ‘cos we knew how,
When was this and what is now?
