I can’t say I know just where I am,
In the story that’s written for me,
All of my endings,
Are clever beginnings,
From an author who’s pen never sleeps,
I’m a tragedy Shakespeare wouldn’t write,
A loneliness Van Gogh couldn’t paint,
But in my deepest dark,
You are the spark,
That warms me like an open flame,

Just when I tho’t I was over,
O’, I can’t get over you,
Don’t know how you turn me around,
I only know that you do,

I feel like I’ve outlived a lifetime,
Yet I wake every morning still,
In my setting sun,
The day is not done,
I find a way where it seems there’s no will,
I’m gravity without an attraction,
An ocean without changing tides,
But in my darkest depth,
You are the breath,
That fills me from the inside,

Just when I tho’t I was over,

Don’t know how you turn me around,
I only know that you do,

O’, my broken heart makes me weary,
But your unbreaking ways make me smile,

How you found my soul,
