It’s midnight in Naples,
My plane is touching down,
I didn’t want to leave you,
But I had to leave that town,
Her memory still exhausts me,
More than she will ever know,
At midnight in Naples,
Maybe now, it won’t,

Midnight in Naples,
With you on my mind,
My heart is feeling lonely,
Like that deep, blue Naples sky,
The stars are dim and empty,
Like that last time we touched,
Midnight in Naples,
O’, I’m missing you so much,

I’ve known you for awhile,
But I’ve never known you well,
Then one night alone with you,
O’, that’s when I fell,
But before I took that fall,
She hurt me, o' so much,
So, here I am, in Naples,
Missing you, my love,
