If She Didn't Know.

She wakes up disbelieving,
Time and time again,
A promising beginning,
Her unforgiving end,
They say love hurts,
But she only knows,
How pain finds her still,
When she's all alone,

O', she knows what love is,
Tho' it only makes her cry,
'Cos if she didn't know,
Then she wouldn't know,
She's got none in her life,

She stares out her broken window,
The dancing rain appears,
Tears of glass shred her cheeks,
For the music she can't hear,
They say it's better,
To have love and lost,
And with nothing to lose,
She can't say it's not,

O', she knows what love is,
Tho' it only makes her cry,
'Cos if she didn't know,
Then she wouldn't know,
She's got none in her life,

O', she's given away her heart,
She's taken every vow,
Love born deep within her,
But still she lives without,

O', she knows what love is,

What she doesn't know,
But she knows what it could be like,
If she would receive,
What she so believes,
She's given in her life,
