Deep in my blue waters,
You're a scavenger of pain,
My destruction your desire,
My existence your dismay,
Once inside your fish tank,
My delusion on display,
Now my freedom ends your story,
I'm the one that got away,

You can't harbor my emotions,
With your shark-infested schemes,
You're just a drop inside my ocean,
Of bigger, better, brighter things,

Belated sea foam rising,
Brings a voice you'll never know,
The fiery sage of iridescence,
Will dissipate your soul,
You can't drown me with your malice,
Like you used to way back when,
Your attempts to hold me under,
Has only taught me how to swim,
