Waiting On A Kiss.

She was left out in the cold,
Without warning, in a storm,
She was sure her love would know,
How to keep her body warm,
But what she didn’t wanna feel,
Was the longing in her soul,
For the love she tho’t was real,
For the man she didn’t know,

She’s not a complicated girl,
She’s got a simple kind of wish,
She’s not looking for the world,
She’s just waiting on a kiss,

She moved quietly thru’ the pain,
In the shadows of herself,
Accepting nothing, but the blame,
That belonged to someone else,
She did everything she could,
To attract him to her lips,
But her wanting did no good,
She was still without a kiss,

She’s not a complicated girl,
She’s got a simple kind of wish,
She’s not looking for the world,
She’s just waiting on a kiss,

‘Cos more and more she realized,
The girl she started to become,
Was not the girl she tho’t he loved,
