I Pray For The Day.

I pray for the day,
When justice comes thru’,
When the media cares,
Like they say that they do,
When patriotism,
Is red, white and blue,
I pray for the day,
When justice comes thru’,

I pray for the day,
When happiness reigns,
When people don’t purposely,
Bring others pain,
When we all come together,
With nothing to gain,
I pray for the day,
When happiness reigns,

I pray for the day,
When freedom is free,
When the rich and the poor,
Conquer their greed,
When together we grow,
And together we bleed,
I pray for the day,
When freedom is free,

I pray for the day,
O’, I certainly do,
But it takes more than me,
It also takes you,
So until you can see,
Until you can say,
We can all make it true,
I pray for the day.
