Pineapples (Song For Maddox).
When I’m deep inside my heart; I’m missing you,
It’s so hard on me; so easy to do,
Gone are the pineapples that planted you,
Sewed you into my soul,
Watched you bloom; turned you gold,
Smiling memories loving you so,
O’, pineapples; so soft; so sweet,
Pineapples; you're there with me,
In my memory; here with me,
Smiling; laughing; beautifully,
And giving me; forever... pineapples,
Love as soft as a sunset; a hibiscus lei,
Yet so distended; like a tidal wave,
Lost in the image that became our way,
Your smile embedded deep in my heart,
Holding forever; my favorite part,
The pineapples of who we are,
O’, pineapples; so soft; so sweet,
Pineapples; you're there with me,
In my memory; here with me,
Smiling; laughing; beautifully,
And giving me; forever... pineapples,
There in Hawai’i; dawn to dusk,
Pineapples for breakfast; pineapples for lunch,
Pineapples at dinner; pineapple snacks,
They made you so happy; you made me laugh,
Endearing our moments; looking back,
O' when I go to Hawai’i; with your memory,
It’s so easy to do; yet so hard on me,
There is shortness in my reality,
Where the pineapples grow,
And life is sweet; but we have to go,
Leaving footprints beyond the rainbow,
O’, pineapples; so soft; so sweet,
