Carousel View.

Sometimes my life,
Without changing a thing,
Can overwhelm my soul,
With the trouble it brings,
It’s unpredictable,
I feel out of touch,
This spinning world,
Is often too much,

It’s like a carousel view,
On a lonely day,
All the world moves,
But I’m still the same,
Nothing stops for me,
Even tho’ I pray,
O’, it’s like a carousel view… I see,
On a lonely day,

I hear the music play,
And the children sing,
I close my eyes,
To see beautiful things,
Never knowing where,
My emotions will fall,
I’m ready with a smile,
And tears for all,

It’s like a carousel view,
On a lonely day,
All the world moves,
But I’m still the same,
Nothing stops for me,
Even tho’ I pray,
O’, it’s like a carousel view… I see,
On a lonely day,

Sometimes I smile,
Sometimes I frown,
Always, I pray,
I’ll come around,
To a better view,
Inside myself,
O’, its’ a lonely world,
My carousel,
